QuikData/LegalAI

An eDiscovery platform with AI assisted review.

QuikData turns large collections of emails, files and chat data into searchable, reviewable evidence, then redacts and produces them for litigation, investigations and regulatory requests. Our engineers keep extending and running it.

How it works

02Challenge

Litigation means going through huge piles of emails, files and chats, then redacting and handing over the right ones.

Discovery means collecting mailboxes, archives and chat exports, making them searchable, getting a review team through them, redacting what must not be shared and producing the rest in the format the other side expects.

Doing that across several tools is slow and risky. Legal teams need one system that handles hard formats, keeps access tight and leaves an audit trail, and AI that speeds up review without replacing the reviewer's judgement.

03How it works4 parts

How the AI works.

One platform for the whole job: load mailboxes, archives and chat data, process and OCR them, search, review and code documents together, redact, and produce with Bates numbering. AI drafts document and privilege log summaries and screens for personal data, with permissions down to folder and field level.
  1. 01Load anythingBulk upload and load file import for mailboxes, archives, embedded objects and chat or text message data, plus a Windows desktop uploader for large collections.
  2. 02Process and searchAutomated processing, OCR and deduplication, then full text and advanced search, email threading and concept analytics.
  3. 03Review with AI assistanceReviewers code documents together. AI drafts document and privilege log summaries and screens for personal data, so reviewers start from a draft rather than a blank page.
  4. 04Redact and produceManual and automatic redaction, productions with Bates numbering, secure sharing and audit reports, with permissions down to folder and field level.

AI you can check.

The rules the AI works within. They are why its output can be trusted in production.
  • 01

AI summaries are drafts for a reviewer, not decisions: coding and privilege calls stay with people.

  • 02

Permissions apply down to folder and field level, and encryption keys are managed with AWS KMS.

  • 03

AI providers are configurable, so the client chooses which models are used.

06FAQ4 questions

Questions we get about it.

What does an eDiscovery platform do?

It takes collected data (emails, files, chats), processes and indexes it, lets a legal team search and review it, redacts sensitive content and produces the relevant documents for litigation, investigations or regulatory requests.

How is AI used in QuikData?

AI drafts document summaries and privilege log summaries and screens documents for personal data. Reviewers still decide how each document is coded.

Which data formats can it handle?

Mailboxes, archives, embedded objects, office files, scanned documents (with OCR) and chat or text message data, imported in bulk or through load files.

Can you build or extend a legal tech platform for us?

Yes. We build and run document heavy platforms with search, review, redaction and AI assistance. Tell us about your workflow and data.
